Terms and Conditions

Please take a moment to read through our Terms and Conditions before proceeding to book any of our services.

Bookings and payment

A 50% deposit is payable on your initial date of booking and balances are due no-less than five working days in advance of your event date.  Deposits are non-refundable except where a session is cancelled by us.

Cancellations

If you are no-longer able to uphold your booking for a workshop or birthday party, please notify us as soon as possible.  Cancellations made less than three full working days in advance of your scheduled event will be subject to 100% of booking fees.

In the event that we need to cancel carrying out your event, individuals or organisations will be offered either an alternative date or a full refund.

Participation and Wellbeing

Our workshops are designed to provide a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.  Children are encouraged to participate at a pace that feels comfortable for them, and no child will be required to take part in activities beyond their level of comfort or readiness.

 

We recognise that children engage in different ways and aim to ensure that every participant feels safe, respected, and supported throughout the workshop.

Behaviour

Acting and performance can be high energy and we are all about that, but, participants must follow the instructions of the Workshop / Party Leader, have a high level of good behaviour and be respectful towards staff and fellow participants at all times so that everyone can enjoy the event in a safe and welcoming environment.

Individual participation in our events cannot be continued if we feel any child is placing themselves or others in danger, or at risk of injury.

Medical Information and Additional Needs

Parents and carers are responsible for informing us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, additional needs, or support requirements at the time of booking.

This information helps us provide a safe and supportive experience for all participants.

Arrival and
Collection

Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring children arrive and are collected promptly at the stated workshop times.​

​

Children will only be released to a parent, carer, or authorised adult named at the time of booking.

Photography and Video

Photographs or short video / audio recordings may occasionally be taken during workshops for promotional purposes, including use on our website and social media channels.

​

Identifiable images of children will only be used where appropriate consent has been provided by a parent or carer.

Safeguarding

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all children and young people and take safeguarding responsibilities seriously. 

 

All Showstopper Kids Club staff are fully DBS checked.

Liability

While reasonable care is taken at all times, participation in workshops is at the parent or carer’s own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal belongings brought to sessions.

Changes to Workshops

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to workshop /event content, tutors, venues, or timings where necessary. Any unforeseen but significant changes will be communicated no less than five working days before your scheduled event.
